Back in February, 3SS pitched their inventions to the Dragon's Den. One Dragon, Ms. Alden, decided she needed Karl's invention, the Aqua Hideout, for the fish tank in the office. Today, Karl was able to help Ms. Alden install the Aqua Hideout in the fish tank. We are so proud of Karl and his invention!
This is a photo of Aidan with Mrs. Monnich. He is presenting her with the $620.00 donation for the orphanage for Laos and Cambodia. We hope that it brings some sunshine to the children there. He collectively raised the money at his Birthday party with Hugo, Mael, Krishna, Ken, Aeddan, Matei, Tyler, Iskander and Karl from Grade 3.
Thank you to all the parents who came in today. The children were prepared and excited to share their learning with you. Thank you for listening and encouraging us to reflect by asking us questions. We hope you enjoyed your time at school today. Remember you can access the digital portfolios from home!
It was so fun and cool!
We have been going to the Delta Swim Club every Monday.
We are learning the different styles of swimming and we enjoy it!
When we go to the swimming club everybody is so excited to get in the awesome pools! Everybody is different in swimming, some students are very good and some need to work on it.That is us!!! - Nina and Hannah
From April 8th, we went to swimming. When we went into the pool, there are two groups of people. One group is all good swimmer and one group is not too well at swimming. Some people like swimming and some people don’t. And of course, when you are learning swimming you have to drink some water in the pool. The water is cold (some people say don’t) so Mr. skrtic didn’t went into the water.

Today we went to the Middle School Science Lab. We did an experiment on Pepsi. We had two test tubes, in one of the test tubes there was pepsi and in the other test tube there was nothing but the test tube was inside a bowl of ice and water. Then what we did in the experiment was we added heat to the pepsi test tube, then after a while we started to see bubbles and gas. We had a lot of fun looking at the pepsi turning into water and go in the other test tube!
